TROUBLE
"I Can't" Official Video

It's Trouble-Trouble baaayyyyy!!!
I can't even say Trouble is taking off because he has already taken off and is gaining altitude fast but he remains humble. December 17th will make it one year since he was released from prison. In the last year he's accomplished what most indie artists don't accomplish in a number of years. When listening to his music you realize his lyrics tell a story, his story, which happens to be a story many can relate to. The vivid visuals he gives us to accompany his music paints a picture.

I have much respect for Trouble because he gives his fans all of him, not just what he thinks they want to see or hear.  Some people may describe him as a "gangster rapper" after listening to tracks like Bussin, Flatline, Richer P*ssy, etc. but there's a bigger picture. He pours his life onto his tracks and just about everyone can find something about Trouble that reminds them of their life experiences. Songs like "World Goes Round" broadcast serious issues going on in society today. For example he speaks on the problems with the economy, family hardships, flaws in the justice system, and more. Are you dealing with the loss of a loved one? Did your mother struggle raising you and you want to give her the life she deserves? Have you ever had to hustle in these streets and want to find a way out? You can't tell me you've never been betrayed. Trouble covers all of these subjects and more in a way that you can't help but feel his pain. Now don't get me wrong his music isn't all depressing or "shoot em up, bang, bang" music. He's still a young man and likes to enjoy life too. He's has club bangers where he gets his "Flexin" on like Plenty, Geeked Outta My Mind, Dis Aint Ordinary, and many more. I can't forget to mention tracks like "I Must Go Hard" & "Straight Up" make me feel his struggle and they are quite inspiring.

Okay let me get back to the original point of this message. ((LOL)) I could go on all day about Trouble but I'm sure if you check out his work you'll see for yourself.

Today Duct Tape Entertainment presents the official video for "I Can't" from Trouble's Green Light mixtape. This video was directed by WhiteboyD & co-direction/cinematography was done by Bruce Cole. "I Can't" was produced by Chase N. Cashe of The Surf Club. The collective effort of this team made for an epic visual that compliments the message of this song. Our society is quick to address infidelity of men but we rarely see the scandalous ways of women exposed. No matter how "gangster" a guy is, if there's a special woman in his life that he chooses to let his guard down for and she betrays him, there's room for pain. Trouble said it best when he said, "We as men thuggin' or whatever the case may be, we don't look at it like that, we figure there's nothing wrong when we f*ck over our women. But when it's vice-verse it's like our world crumbles down." This has proved to be a hit amongst both males & females. The males I think because many have been there, even though they don't want to admit it. Did I mention the ladies love Trouble and T. White (of No Line Gang)? Although the woman is the villain in this song, the ladies love it also.
